Rosita y Rafa

Rafael Escamilla and Rosa Domínguez have formed for more than 50 years a happy marriage in the town of Caudete de las Fuentes (Valencia, Spain). With lots of  perseverance and efforts, their home has given a big family of three children and eight grandchildren. One of these, the author of this piece, wanted to reflect with the score the love and gratitude from the family to their “grandpas”.

Rosita y Rafa is a pasodoble full of colour, sweetness and majesty. Simple in the writing but full of expression, with attractive and expressive melodies, to homage the marriage is named after as it deserves.

Rafael Escamilla y Rosa Domínguez forman desde hace más de 50 años un matrimonio feliz en la localidad de Caudete de las Fuentes (Valencia). A base de esfuerzo y de constancia, su hogar ha dado como fruto una gran familia de tres hijos y ocho nietos. Uno de estos, el autor de esta obra, ha querido plasmar con esta partitura el cariño y la gratitud de la familia hacia sus “abuelos”.
