Unfortunately, it has been a lot of time since my last post on this website. Not because lack of work, but the opposite!
Long story short:
- New house.
- New band.
- 2 weddings (same wife, just two celebrations).
- New job.
- New projects.
But one of the last things I want to share came a few weeks ago. My work Cerulean Overture has been selected as a test piece in the 3rd Division of the Certamen Internacional de Valencia 2024 (CIBM).
Something I cannot yet believe (pinch me). In the past I have worked during the radio broadcast of the certamen with Octavio Hernández and the team of Nuestras Bandas de Música, interviewing composers, conductors, musicians, presenting and commenting the performances from the booth, sharing the joy when the results came…
Now, it is such an honor to switch from the microphones to the music stands.
